The IIT's hajj group is at capacity and registration is closed. If you are interested in going for hajj next year, you can sign up below.

Every year the Islamic Institute of Toronto organises a hajj group as a service to the community, on a non-profit basis. Our objective is to ensure that the manasik of hajj are performed in accordance with the authentic teachings of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Distinctions of the IIT's hajj program include:

Group accompanied by Shaikh Abdool Hamid for guidance on manasik of hajj
Group also accompanied by administrative guide
Physician and medical assistance available
Securing & collecting passports; confirmation of reservations for return/onward trip after hajj
Religious and administrative seminars/assistance provided in Toronto and during the journey
Several years of experience in facilitating hajj trips

The program details include details on the shaikh accompanying the group, the itinerary, hajj seminars and class, etc.

The hajj group must attend the following class. Others are welcome to attend as well, for a fee of $30 per person.

Objective	This course will provide an understanding of hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam and the once-in-a-lifetime obligation on Muslims. At the end of the course, participants will have a greater appreciation of the importance, excellence and prerequisites of the pilgrimage and will gain practical knowledge of how to perform the rituals (manasik) of hajj.
